LISA D'ADDEO BOHMAN '82

I chose to attend Trinity because:
Trinity chose me - literally. I always loved school and knew I wanted the college I chose to value academic excellence, be close to home, and be small enough in size so that I would not be lost in the crowd. Early my senior year I was invited to attend Trinity's weekend for children of alumni - my dad matriculated class of '46. I got sick halfway through and had to leave early. About a month after I interviewed with admissions and they offered me early admission on the spot. Not realizing exactly what that meant, but knowing I liked the feel of Trinity I said o.k. One of the best decisions I ever made. Though there were the first year fears of college itself, I have never once regretted my choice of school.

My fondest Trinity memory:
There are so many it is hard to pick just one - Halloween parties on the Quad with my friends and acquaintances, traveling with concert choir on the biennial spring tours, being a part of the long tradition that is Lessons and Carols, walking to class along the Long Walk with the trees ablaze with the colors of fall, spring on the Quad with people studying or just talking, playing catch, and enjoying life.

My favorite Trinity professor:
Professor Wainwright Love - a true scholar and gentleman; Professor Gerry Moshell - for sharing his knowledge of music; and Professor Katharine Power - for all her encouragement.

Something I learned at Trinity and never forgot:
That college is life, just on a smaller scale.

I remain connected to Trinity by:
The many special events throughout the year. Reunion Weekend - it's great being there with my dad and his classmates and the other members of the Half Century Club, as well as seeing so many other alumni who I have come to know over the years; Homecoming - who could miss a crisp fall day cheering on our favorite Bantams; Lessons and Carols - a holiday tradition; and spending wonderful summer evenings with our friends on the Quad listening to the carillon concerts.

Most memorable book I read while at Trinity:
Shakespeare's Sonnets

I give to Trinity because:
Trinity was and still is an important part of my life. There are still memories waiting to be made.
