JARVIS PADGHAM BROWN '43

I chose to attend Trinity because:
1. It was a great liberal arts College. 2. It was close. 3. It gave a scholarship I needed.

My fondest Trinity memory:
Prexy Ogilby one night counselling Dick Dexter and me regarding whether to go to war or be conscientious objectors. (He also supported our soccer program!)

My favorite Trinity professor:
Louis Hastings Naylor

Something I learned at Trinity and never forgot:
"A Trinity man is at his best under stress and strain." (I decided for the Methodist Ministry while a Trinity student)

I remain connected to Trinity by:
Praying, giving, reading, writing. John Bonee and Presidents.

Most memorable book I read while at Trinity:
Poor Richard's Almanack - anything about founding fathers.

I give to Trinity because:
Its motto, its interest in the surrounding Hartford community, its continued goal of an excellent lifestyle and liberal arts education.
