I was struck by the beauty of the campus when I first visited. I fell in love with the idea of being a part of a close-knit liberal arts campus, while being surrounded by a city.
I have so many...being a part of the Tutorial College, leading the ski team, participating in the Curriculum Committee, learning about schools from teachers at South Middle School and the Hartford Magnet Middle School.
Prof. Anselmi, my thesis advisor, Prof. Winer, my major advisor in psychology and Prof. Dougherty who taught me about the foundations of teaching. I also developed a great relationship with Lisa Kassow, the director of Trinity Hillel.
The best intellectual conversations often happen outside of the classroom. This is an idea I try to take advantage of as a teacher and school leader.
Serving on the National Alumni Board, planning our 5th reunion, staying in touch with my professors and writing the 2003 class notes.
Those during my Tutorial College year. Reading Shakespeare with a chemistry professor was quite a memorable experience!
