I wanted to go to a conservatory school for acting, my parents wanted me to go to a good liberal arts school...so we compromised. Not only did Trinity do the most number of musicals per year, have a small non-competitive department, but it offered a semester in New York with the La MaMa theater company.
It's impossible to choose. Of my fondest are sitting on the Quad in the sun with friends; laughing at dinner like I never thought I'd laugh again; singing to a packed Austin Arts Center centerstage; singing a solo at Service the morning of graduation; or just plain being a senior, knowing what it meant to be an intelligent female Trinity graduate who knew who she was and had good people and a good community in her life who supported and believed in her.
Dr. Arthur Feinsod, who I unfortunately only had the privilege of knowing one year before he left Trinity.
I have an opinion and it matters.
staying close to my Trinity friends, visiting Trin when I can, and keeping Trinity close to my heart!!
"Brecht on Theatre"
well...I'm a poor actress right now and can't afford much. But when I'm no longer said poor actress I WILL give to Trinity, because Trinity gave so much to me.
