DESCATUR POTIER '03
I wanted to attend a reputable school that would offer me the best chance to excel both in and out of the classroom. The Trinity admissions staff made me feel welcome to the school, and they instilled a sense that I would contribute to the betterment of the school community. In other words, "they made me feel special." Lastly, I was awarded community service scholarship through Fleet Bank that alleviated the financial burden on me and my family. Without that generous financial aid award I doubt I would have been able to attend the school.
My fondest memory was when our school community came together, on the quad, in response to the terrorists attacks on September 11th.
In that moment of despair, pain, and sorrow, I witnessed Trinity at its best. We, as a school, looked past race, class, and gender. We were a "family" that day, and I was proud to be a part of that family.
My favorite Professor(s): Professor Chambers, Prof. Peltier and Prof. Schulz
One person can make a difference. You can be the change you want to see in the world. Don't just talk about it, be about it.

I give to Trinity because it gave so much more to me.
