MERRITT JOHNQUEST '44

I chose to attend Trinity because:
It was like Yale but SMALL!

My fondest Trinity memory:
Playing the colonel in the Jesters' production of "Jacobowsky & the Colonel." Mike Campo was Jacobowsky!

My favorite Trinity professor:
George Cooper (of course) and Morse Allen, whose father taught my father at Pratt.

Something I learned at Trinity and never forgot:
How to learn.

I remain connected to Trinity by:
The class of 1944, what's left of us.

Most memorable book I read while at Trinity:
Adam Smith's "The Wealth of Nations." It was so boring I switched majors.

I give to Trinity because:
They put up with me when I was callow youth, personified, and kicked me up onto the Dean's List my Senior year.
