DAVID BOOTH BEERS, III '77

I chose to attend Trinity because:
My brother & I were born while my Dad was at Trinity; I always felt a part of the "family." While I was waiting to hear from Admissions, I met Ted Lockwood in my parents' kitchen, over a burger. Talk about anxiety!

My fondest Trinity memory:
I met my wife of 27 years, Margaret Evans, at a Pipes party in a room in Ogilby. I have The Hall and Andy Storch to thank for that.

My favorite Trinity professor:
John Williams, Classics George Chaplin, Art Michael Mahoney, Art History

Something I learned at Trinity and never forgot:
The value of a broad experience in a Liberal Arts education.

I remain connected to Trinity by:
Margaret and I are Friends of Art, and I remain active with The Hall. We live in West Hartford, and try to get over there when we can.

Most memorable book I read while at Trinity:
"The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind" by Julian Jaynes

I give to Trinity because:
Trinity gave me more than I'll ever repay.
